What typically happens Masquerage

The only event of its kind, Masquerage is Dayton’s “party of parties for a cause.”

Doors open at 8pm. After checking in at registration, you’ll have a chance to sip on delicious craft cocktails, eat some small bites, and bid on our Silent Auction items. Beautifully themed decorations surround a mainstage where you can watch the region’s best drag performers, or dance the night away with our DJ. This will be a night you won’t want to miss.

What to wear

Masquerage doesn’t have an official dress code. All outfits are welcome, just make sure you’re clothed. Attendees come dressed in elaborate costumes, outfits to match the years’ theme, or anything that you feel confident in. Looking for inspiration? Visit our photo gallery to see previous years costumes!

How can I get into Masquerage for Free?

Great question! Volunteer with us! We’re looking for all of the help we can get and are flexible with schedules. Volunteers that donate eight hours or more of their time will earn a complimentary General Admission ticket. For information on volunteering, please reach out to jostinschimmoeller@equitashealth.com.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

Yes. However, we recommend purchasing your tickets ahead of time for the discounted rate.

Is there food?

Yes, but don’t come on an empty stomach. We will have some small plates and late-night snacks for you to enjoy throughout the night.

What’s in a VIP Ticket?

Dance like no one’s watching in our exclusive VIP dance areas, or relax with a cocktail in the VIP lounge with an all-inclusive drink package. VIP ticket holders also will receive a complimentary Masquerage swag bag.

How do I bid in the Silent Auction?

We host our Silent Auction on an online platform called GreaterGiving. Participants will be asked to make an account to help us update and manage auction items during bidding. Instructions for auction registration will be sent to your email on file prior to the start of the event.
